When will I receive my certificate?

Certificates are available at the end of the workshop for those who registered at least 5 business days prior to the workshop, were present for the full day, and are in good financial standing.

How can a group register for a GHE course?

Please email info@globalhealthcareeducation.com or call our office 877.311.1608 for group registrations. Please note that all members of a group must register at the same time to receive the group rate.

How will you notify me if a course is cancelled?

In the unlikely event that a workshop has been changed in any way, we will notify all pre-registered attendees via phone and email based upon the information provided on your registration.

Will you cancel a course due to inclement weather?

We understand that licensing renewals are time sensitive, and therefore, make every attempt to hold our workshops as scheduled. As long as our instructor arrives to the location, the workshop will be held. Should anything change, we will notify all pre-registered attendees via phone and email based upon the information provided on your registration.

Please note, GHE is not responsible for losses incurred by an attendee for airline fares or other travel arrangements in the event that the workshop must be cancelled or postponed. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.

What is your cancellation policy?

Substitutions may be made at any time. There is a $35 administration fee for all cancellations.

What are GHE’s course completion requirements?

Participants must:

  • Pay tuition fee
  • Sign in
  • Attend the entire workshop
    • An amended certificate will be granted for late arrival/ early departure
  • Complete an evaluation
  • Sign out

Note:  Failure to complete these requirements may result in a forfeiture from the course and a certificate will not be granted.

What if I need special accommodations for the course?

Accommodations will be made in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). If you require specific accommodations due to a disability, please contact GHE Customer Service at least 30 days before the workshop date so that appropriate arrangements may be made.

What should I wear to the course?

Please check your workshop brochure or confirmation email to verify if specific clothing is required for your workshop.  We recommend loose-fitting clothing for workshops that include lab exercises.  We also recommend that you bring a light sweater or jacket as the temperature of the room cannot be controlled to accommodate everyone in attendance.

How are CE/CEU approvals handled or obtained?

Global Healthcare Education has been approved as a continuing education provider by many national and state licensing boards (e.g. AOTA, BOC). GHE has been approved by many boards of education as a professional development provider; however, most states require these decisions to be made at the local district level.  Please contact GHE Customer Service for approval numbers or if you are licensed in multiple states at 877.311.1608.

What can I expect to receive at the course?

You can expect to receive:

  • A manual that accompanies the information presented.
  • Continuing Education Credit
  • Certificate of Completion.  If your certificate is not onsite, simply complete a certificate request form at the workshop.  Please allow up to 28 days to receive your certificate.
  • Understanding of practices and techniques to utilize in your profession
Do I need to bring anything to the course?

Please check your workshop brochure or confirmation email to verify whether specific items should be taken to the workshop.  We recommend that you bring a light sweater or jacket as the temperature of the room cannot be controlled to accommodate everyone in attendance

What are the course hours?

Check-in and registration begin at 7:30AM. The workshop will begin promptly at 8:00AM and conclude at 3:30PM. You will have an hour for lunch and two 15 minute breaks. Lunch will be on your own

What if I want to send someone in my place?

Substitutions may be made at any time; however, we do request a 3 day notice to ensure the new attendee will have his/her certificate available at the workshop.

Written notification must be received from the original attendee giving us permission to transfer his/her registration to a new person. Approval will be accepted from a coordinator or accounting administrator should the company be responsible for payment.

What if I need a receipt for reimbursement?

You confirmation email serves as your receipt. Should this not suffice, please call our Customer Service at 877.311.1608 or email us at info@globalhealthcareeducation.com.

How should I expect to receive my registration confirmation?

Registrations completed by phone, mail, email, or fax will receive an email confirmation immediately upon completion. Online registrations will receive an email confirmation within 24 hours. Your confirmation will serve as your receipt as well.

How late can I register for a course?

We accept registrations up until the day of the workshop; however, certificates may not be available for those registering within 48 hours of the workshop. We recommend registering at least 21 days prior to the workshop to qualify for our early rate discount. Walk-in or last-minute registrations are not recommended as workshop materials and seat availability cannot be guaranteed.

How can I pay for a course?

You can pay by:

  • Credit Card (American Express, Discover, Visa, MasterCard)
  • Check (must be received with the registration form via mail)
  • Purchase Order (Please mail, fax, or email a copy of the approved and signed Purchase Order along with the registration form.)
  • Cash
What are the prices for workshops?

Workshops have multiple pricing levels depending on the time of registration and size of your group. Please see the back of your brochure for specific pricing. If you do not have a brochure, workshop pricing will be available once you select the inquiring workshop from our website.

Early discount registrations must be 21 days prior to the workshop date. Group registrations and payments must be received together.
